Benny is a lovely 2-3 years old poodle boy, weighing 15kg (33 pounds). Benny is a gentle soul, very quiet, very loving. He gets along with other dogs and cats, very very friendly with people, even strangers. He is very gentle around little kids. Benny had been staying at the terrible shelter in Wuhan, China since he was a young pup. Life at the terrible shelter was both miserable and dangerous. A regular lady volunteer named Fita at the terrible shelter couldn’t take it anymore so she took all the 250 dogs there to her own shelter by the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. Fita now has over 650 dogs. Fita’s shelter is much better in every way. However, Benny is stilll been bullied badly at her shelter which is why Fita decided to send Benny to Canada for a great life when the opportunity came. Benny is being fostered on Vancouver island. He has settled in very nicely. From a very fearful boy upon arrival, to a very gentle, affectionate, quiet loving boy within a few days. He follows his foster mom everywhere, but is getting less clingy. His foster mom loves him so much. If she hasn’t already had five dogs, she would have loved to adopt Benny. Benny is a very special soul. If you have room in your heart and your home for this lovely gentle boy, please get in touch with us. Thank you! Benny is neutered, has all of his vaccination up to date. He has had flea and deworming treatment done in November. He was groomed and bathed before embarking on his long journey to Canada. (Unfortunately there is an adoption fee to cover for part of the cost of sending Benny from Wuhan to Vancouver. It’s costing Fita slightly under CAN $1500 and we are asking for an adoption fee of $700 for Benny’s adoption. Sorry!)
