Produced by the Royal Albert pottery in London, Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1970's, this highly sought-after collectible teacup and saucer was created to commemorate and celebrate the Canadian provinces. Its design has the national flower of each of the ten provinces on both the cup and the saucer joined together with a delicate pink ribbon. The cup has a Canadian flag on the inside top edge of the cup, and both pieces are embellished with gold trim. The footed Gainsborough style cup stands approximately 3" tall, the saucer is approximately 5.5" wide. Both are in mint condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or other imperfections.
